Elviria is a very internationally minded area just east of Marbella. The area is inhabited by Spanish, English, Irish, Dutch, German, Scandinavian and many more nationalities. The area is the central point of the east side of Marbella offering a lot of shopping facilities, restaurants, bars and beach restaurants.

Properties in Elviria are mostly villas and luxurious apartments. Villas in Elviria are mostly found on the sloping hills all the way up towards the natural reserve of La Mairena. Apartments in Elviria are characterized by low density complexes and large garden areas with leisure facilities. Mass tourism is hardly found here, mostly second home owners and high end renters come to Elviria.

Central point of Elviria is the internationally famed Don Carlos beach hotel. This 5 star hotel offers top of the bill congress facilities (big german car-manufacturers have held model introductions here more than once) several restaurants and bars and the famed Nikki beach club where one can spot celebrities in the summer.

Shopping and restaurants in Elviria

Elviria has restaurants and bars for all budgets and wishes. From the Michelin star graded Greenlife golf course restaurant and the famous Beach house to Indian take away restaurants and Spanish Tapa bars, everything is found here. It only gets very busy here in July and August. the rest of the year there is always activity but not exagerated.
